Meizu hits back by announcing their newest 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 smartphone namely the M5s. Adopting a unibody metal design, this mid-range smartphone has a 5.2-inch 1280 x 720 HD 2.5D curved glass display, a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor, a Mali-T760 GPU, a 3GB RAM and a 16GB/32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
Featuring Hybrid dual SIM card (nano + nano/microSD) slots, the handset packs a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 13MP rear-facing camera with Sony sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash, an mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button and a 3000mAh battery with fast charging.
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Flyme OS 6.0 on top, the M5s provides 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS/GLONASS for connectivity. The Meizu M5s will go on sale in China from February 20th for a starting price of 799 Yuan / $116 (16GB version). [FoneArena]
