Kingston has recently unveiled a new line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs, the SSDNow UV400. Coming in four different storage capacities: 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are built with TLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a Marvell 88SS1074 controller and an MTBF of 1 million hours.

In terms of performance, the SSDNow UV400 SSDs promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 350MB/s (120GB model), 550MB/s and 490MB/s (240GB model), 550MB/s and 500MB/s (480GB model), and 540MB/s and 500MB/s (960GB model), respectively.
