Buffalo has also unveiled their newest wireless LAN repeater, the WEX-300. Designed to extend the radio range of the wireless LAN into out-of-reach areas of the home, the WEX-300 supports for single-band WiFi access point (2.4GHz – 300Mbps), has a WPS button and four LAN ports on the back, and provides security through encryption using WPA2-PSK (AES), WPA-PSK (AES), WPA/WPA2 mixed PSK (AES) and WEP (128/64bit).
