The ultramodern SOLARAY projects aims to develop a sustainable vehicle for urban environments in 2050 by providing an innovative solution to reduce dependence on current energy practices. The solar and inductively recharged EV features a weaved photovoltaic embedded glass inspired by leaf structures. Electro-conductive polymer tires and wheels allow the vehicle to charge in motion, saving on-board space and battery weight. Additional weight reduction is achieved by a carbon nanotube chassis.
