Micromax has just listed a new octa-core Android 4.4 smartphone on its product page, the Canvas Nitro A311. Coming with a stylish leather panel on the back, this powerful smartphone sports a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS display with 178-degree viewing angle and anti-fingerprint oleophobic coating, a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, a 700MHz Mali 450 GPU, a 2GB RAM and a 16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 32GB). The handset is also packed with dual SIM card slots, a 5MP BSI front-facing camera with OV5648 sensor and 22m wide-angle lens, and a 13MP rear-facing autofocus camera with LED flash, Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor and 28mm wide-angle lens. Powered by a 2500mAh battery, the Canvas Nitro A311 provides 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
