Sony has introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.0 smartphone ‘Xperia XA1’ at this year’s MWC. Measuring 8mm thick and weighing 143g, this mid-range smartphone packs a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD display with Image Enhance Technology, a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core 64-bit 16nm processor, an ARM Mali T880 GPU, a 3GB RAM and a 32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 256GB).

Coming in both single and dual SIM variants, the handset sports an 8MP autofocus front-facing camera, a 23MP rear-facing camera with Exmor RS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Hybrid AF, SteadyShot and LED flash and a 2300mAh battery with fast charging.

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the Xperia XA1 provides 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC for connectivity. The Sony Xperia XA1 will hit the market from Spring 2017 for unannounced price yet. [FoneArena]
