Sony has unveiled a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.1 smartphone ‘Xperia L2’ at the CES 2018. Measuring 9.8mm thick and weighing 178g, this budget-minded smartphone packs a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display with Image Enhance Technology & Corning Gorilla Glass protection, a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor, a Mali-T720 GPU, a 3GB RAM and a 32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 256GB).

Featuring dual SIM card slots (optional), the handset sports an 8MP front-facing camera with 1/4” image sensor, f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens, a 13MP autofocus rear-facing camera with 1/3.06” image sensor, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, a fingerprint sensor on the back, an FM radio and a 3300mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging.

Running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, the Xperia L2 provides 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C for connectivity. The Sony Xperia L2 will hit the market from late January for unannounced price yet. [FoneArena]
