Adorably Interactive Lighting

The designers of the Volé lamp put it best when they described wind as “nature’s engine.” It’s true that wind can be as functional as it is ferocious, and this design is exemplary of that notion. More so, it’s a reminder of the power we harness as people.

It harnesses wind energy produced by the user who can blow (or manually spin) its top-mounted turbine. Upon being turned, the light source is activated, and a soothing glow illuminates the translucent body. In an artistic blend of glass, wood and copper, it’s as much a practical light source as it is a statement piece!

Designers: Mauricio Sanin & Kelly Durango Cardenas of MOAK Studio
