ADATA XPG SX950

ADATA has introduced a new line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs namely the XPG SX950. Coming in 240GB, 480GB and 960GB capacities, these slim 2.5-inch SSDs (7mm thick) are built with 3D MLC NAND Flash memory chips, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a high speed SMI controller and an MTBF of 2 million hours.

Implementing ADATA’s advanced LDPC ECC Engine and RAID Engine to strengthen data protection and integrity, the XPG SX950 SSDs promise to deliver maximum read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 520MB/s (240GB model), 560MB/s and 530MB/s (480GB model) and 560MB/s and 530MB/s (960GB model), respectively. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]
